  • Geologic Description = Quartz vein, 2 to 8 inches thick, containing arsenopyrite, galena, gold, and sphalerite, cuts Late Cretaceous Valdez Group slate and graywacke. Vein strikes N 11 to 40 E and has a nearly vertical dip. Assays up to 4.25 oz/ton Au reported (Johnson, 1914).
  • Age = Late Cretaceous or younger; veins cut Late Cretaceous Valdez Group slates and graywackes.
