  • Workings / Exploration = Several placer claims on Gold Creek, some staked as recently as 1980 (Kurtak and others, 1992). Coarse gold reported in 1914 to have been found (Chapin, 1918). Analysis of stream-sediment sample yielded 3.1 ppm Pt and >10 ppm Au (Balen, 1990).
