Comments on the geologic information

  • Geologic Description = Occurrence is described only as black chert, at the contact between Devonian Skajit Limestone and overlying Beaucoup Formation, that contains a pyrite- and chalcopyrite-bearing quartz vein (Menzie and others, 1985). USBM information from a location thought to correspond to this prospect suggests galena is also present (Barker, 1978). No other descriptive information is available.
