Comments on the geologic information

  • Geologic Description = Limited information describes this prospect only as an area of galena-bearing veins and stockworks (DeYoung, 1978). Its location appears to be in a narrow band of Devonian(?) quartz-muscovite-chlorite schist which separates Devonian calcareous schist and marble from a narrow northward extension of the Devonian Horace Mountain gneissic biotite granite (Brosgi and Reiser, 1964).
