Economic information

Comments on the geologic information

  • Geologic Description = A prospect pit was sunk 20 feet on iron-stained quartz and brown-weathered schist that reportedly carried some gold (Smith, 1913 [B 525, p. 206]). The quartz appeared to be in small stringers in the schist, but large pieces of the quartz were seen on the dump.
