  • RICH GOLD DISCOVERY REPORTED IN 1913; NO MINING IN 1915. WAS SOME MINING IN 1955 AND/OR 1956. APPARENTLY INACTIVE FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS PRIOR TO 1976. NO ACTIVITY IN 1975-76; CONDITION OF AIRSTRIP ON RIDGE AND ROAD TO CREEK AND OF TAILINGS LOOKED AS THOUGH WORK HAD BEEN DONE IN THE 1950'S.
