  • Geologic Description = Sphalerite and minor galena occur as disseminated grains in silicified matrix and as fragments in sandstone breccia, and massive sphalerite occurs as fracture fillings in sandstone of the Shanin Lake member? of the Upper Devonian Kanayut Conglomerate; the breccias may be localized at the base of a thrust sheet over shale and siltstone of the Stuver member of the Kanayut.
