Economic information

Comments on the geologic information

  • Geologic Description = At this locality Tertiary granodiorite along a beach is cut by iron-stained quartz veins for several hundred feet. The veins average N. 75 W. in strike and contain pyrite and pyrrhotite in local abundance. Some of the veins are vuggy. A sample collected here by Rose and Richter, 1967, assayed 0.10 ounce per ton gold, 3.50 ounces per ton silver, trace copper, and 14 percent arsenic.
  • Age = Tertiary
