  • IN THE LOWER PARTS OF THE RIO BENI, NEAR CACHUELA ESPERANZA, ARE SMALL WORKINGS OF BEACH GRAVELS. SUCTION DREDGES ARE WORKING THE AREA AT PRESENT. THE BENI RIVER IS BELIEVED TO BE TRANSPORTING CONSIDERABLE QUANTITES OF VERY FINE GRAINED GOLD.

Deposit ALL OF THE RIVERS IN THE AREA CONTAIN GOLD. PAN CONCENTRATES FROM THE BEACHES AND TERRACES GAVE RESULTS UP TO 130 MG PER CUBIC METER AND THE GOLD IS FINE-GRAINED AND FLAKY.
