  • OUTCROPS OF THE BENTONITE DEPOSITS WITH COLOR VARYING FROM IVORY TO LIGHT GREEN ARE FOUND IN THE FLANKS OF THE COLCHAJE SYNCLINE. THERE ARE THREE MAIN HORIZONTALLY OUTCROPS WITH SHALE AND RED SANDSTONES CORRESPONDING TO THE CRETACEOUS PAHUA AND COROMA FORMATION.
