  • THE OLD DUDE MINE IS REPORTED TO CONTAIN ORE RESERVES ESTIMATED AT 50000 TONS WITH MOST OF THIS OCCURRING ABOVE THE 300 FT LEVEL. PAST PRODUCTION FIGURES SHOW 1000 TONS PRIOR TO 1904 AND 1640 TONS BETWEEN 1926 AND 1928. PAST PRODUCTION INDICATES THAT THE ORE AVERAGES ABOUT 0.05 OZ AU/TON, 6 TO 10 OZ AG/TON, 10 TO 15 % PB, 2 TO 4 % ZN AND 0.28 % V205.

  • THE OLD DUDE SHAFT CONNECTS WITH THE ANNIVERSARY SHAFT 300 FT TO THE SOUTH ON THE 100 FT AND 300 FT LEVELS. SOUTH OF THE ANNIVERSARY LEVEL AT 200 FT, 400 FT AND 500 FT HAVE BEEN DRIVEN. THREE LARGE AREAS HAVE BEEN STOPED AND AN OLD RAISE FROM THE 100 FT LEVEL IS LOCATED SOUTH OF THE ANNIVERSARY.

  • D G FINGADO REPORTED THAT WESCO MINERALS INC WAS BUILDING A MILL WITH 50 TO 60 TONS OF ORE PER DAY CAPACITY AND WAS PUMPING TO LOWER THE WATER LEVEL IN THE MINE (1964).
