  • MR. SANKEY THINKS THIS AMOUNT REPRESENTS ONLY THE SHIPMENTS BY RAIL. THE MINE WAS WORKED FOR SOME TIME BY THE SLIGO FURNACE CO. AND THE ORE WAS HAULED IN WAGONS TO THE FURNACE ( NASON, 1892 ).
