  • A NUMBER OF CUTS AND TEST PITS HAD BEEN DUG BETWEEN THE RAVINES IN SEARCH OF SPECULAR ORE, BUT NO LARGE MASS OF IT HAD BEEN FOUND.

Deposit SPECULAR ORE WAS HERE FOUND SCATTERED OVER A LARGE SURFACE DOWN THE SOUTH SLOPE OF A HIGH RIDGE, BETWEEN AND IN TWO RAVINES, AND A CONSIDERABLE DISTANCE DOWN THE MAIN RAVINE FORMED BY THE UNION OF THESE TWO.
