  • ABOUT THREE MILES NW OF TIMBER (CRANE, 1912). A DISCREPANCY OF TWO TO THREE MILES EXISTS BETWEEN THIS AND CRANE'S INITIAL LOCATION OF GRANDIN BANK: SW 1/4, SEC 19, T31N, R4W. THE BANK IS SITUATED IN A SMALL GULLY WHICH DROPS PRECIPITOUSLY DOWN A STEEP RIDGE ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF BARREN FORK. NOTE: THE DISCREPANCY PUTS THIS BANK IN EITHER THE ROUND SPRING QUAD. OR THE GLADDEN QUAD.

Deposit THE OUTCROP OCCURS IN A BELT 40 TO 75 FT WIDE, EXTENDING FROM THE BASE TO THE CREST OF THE RIDGE, A VERTICAL DISTANCE OF 90 FT. THE ORE OCCURS INTERMINGLED WITH FRAGMENTS OF POROUS CHERT.
