  • THE ROCK HAS APPARENTLY BEEN MINED IN A LIMITED AREA OF THE OUTCROP. THE WORKINGS CONSIST OF A SMALL TIPPLE-LIKE STRUCTURE AND A SMALL EXCAVATED AREA. AT ONE TIME IT COULD HAVE PRODUCED A LIMITED AMOUNT OF SILICA MATERIAL USED IN THE SMELTING OF IRON ORE.
