Subject category Comment text
Deposit THE MINERALIZATION IS LOCALIZED IN A HIGHLY BRECCIATED SHEAR ZONE TRENDING NW IN STRONGLY ARGILLIZED PURPLE ANDESITE. FAULT GOUGE AND SOME WALL ROCK HAVE BEEN REPLACED, AND SOME FISSURES ARE FILLED WITH VEINS ON SILICCOUS FLUORSPAR THAT RANGE IN WIDTH FROM A FEW INCHES TO 3 FT. THE WIDER PARTS ARE SMALL PODS OF ORE IRREGULARLY ARRANGED IN THE FRACTURED ZONE. THE FLUORSPAR IS TRANSLUCENT, GREEN, OR COLORLESS, CHIEFLY FINE-GRAINED AND INTIMATELY MIXED WITH QUARTZ THAT AMOUNTS TO ABOUT 30% OF THE WHOLE.
