BLACK KNIGHT FAULT PARALLELS KENNEDY GULCH FAULT ZONE OR BRECCIA REEF AND IS MARKED BY THIN SUBPARALLEL FRACTURES AND 3- TO 5-FT-THICK BRECCIA ZONE WITH U, CU, AND CARBONATE MINERALS; SECONDARY U MINERALS ON OUTCROP. BILLIKEN FAULT STRIKES NNE, DIPS 50 TO 70 SE AND PRESUMABLY INTERSECTS BLACK KNIGHT FAULT. COLLOFORM PITCHBLENDE FILLS THIN FRACTURES AND WAS BRECCIATED BEFORE DEPOSITION OF CU SULFIDES. PRIMARY U APPEARS CONFINED TO INTERSECTIONS OF BLACK KNIGHT FAULT WITH MAGNETITE-RICH GARNET GNEISS LAYER. |
