Subject category Comment text
Deposit ZONED PEGMATITE IS POORLY EXPOSED BUT CONSISTS MOSTLY OF MICROCLINE-QUARTZ-MUSCOVITE PEGMATITE WITH LARGE AMOUNTS OF PARTLY SERICITIZED SILLIMANITE, ALTERED MAGNETITE, AND HEMATITE NEAR SCHIST INCLUSIONS AND CONTACTS. THIS GRADES INTO ZONE OF ALBITE-QUARTZ-MUSCOVITE PEGMATITE WITH BERYL, CHRYSOBERYL, AND ALTERED GARNET; THEN ZONE OF GIANT MICROCLINE FOLLOWED BY MASSIVE MILKY AND ROSE QUARTZ. PEGMATITE CUT BY TWO NW-TRENDING DIABASE DIKES.
