  • OLDER TUNNEL (CAVED) LOCATED 75 FT ABOVE AND 75 FT SOUTH OF MAIN TUNNEL, EXTENT UNKNOWN. MAIN DRIFT TUNNEL DRIVEN GENERALLY WEST FOR 500 FT, WITH WINZE AT 85 FT FROM PORTAL, RAISE AT 300 FT, 100-FT WINZE AT 350 FT, AND 40-FT RAISE AT 360 FT.

SEQUENCE CUT BY HORNBLENDE LATITE PORPHYRY SILLS AND BY BLACKHAWK FAULT OR BRANCHES OF IT, TRENDING GENERALLY N 50 W AND DOWNDROPPED 65 FT ON NE. VEIN CARRIES SULFIDES AND PYRITE IN GANGUE OF QUARTZ AND CALCITE. PRESENCE OF REPLACEMENT-TYPE DEPOSIT ASSOCIATED WITH FAULT AND SILLS IS UNCONFIRMED.
