OTHER WORKINGS INCLUDE SHORT CROSSCUT AND DRIFT TUNNELS, SHAFTS, AND OPEN CUTS.

Deposit COUNTRY ROCK CONSISTS OF SW-DIPPING DOLORES FM RED BEDS INTRUDED BY DIORITE-MONZONITE PORPHYRY DIKES. IN LOWER WORKINGS, SANDSTONE AND SHALE ARE SILICIFIED, AND LIMESTONE CONGLOMERATE IS METAMORPHOSED. IDAHO AND VALLEY VIEW VEINS BELIEVED TO BE EXTENSIONS FROM THOSE NAMED PROPERTIES AND TREND NNW; IDAHO VEIN DIPS STEEPLY NE TO VERTICAL, 0.5 TO 3.5 FT WIDE, AND CONSISTS OF OPEN BRECCIA IN PLACES CONTAINING QUARTZ AND SULFIDES. LITTLE LA PLATA VEIN TRENDS GENERALLY N 22 TO 25 E, 65 TO 80 NW AND LIES IN 1- TO 5-FT-WIDE FRACTURE ZONE CONTAINING 3 INCHES TO 3 FT OF QUARTZ, SIDERITE, AND SULFIDES.
