Deposit BATTLE ROCK IS NATURAL MONOLITH IN CENTER OF MCELMO CREEK VALLEY AND IS UPHELD BY INDURATED, FE-STAINED JUNCTION CREEK SANDSTONE ALONG N 75 W-TRENDING SHEAR ZONE ACROSS CREST OF MCELMO ANTICLINE. SPARSE CHALCOPYRITE AND CU CARBONATES FOUND IN BARITE GANGUE WITH ABUNDANT FE OXIDES.
