Deposit BEDS DIP VERY SLIGHTLY TO NW OFF WEST FLANK OF NNE-PLUNGING ASYMMETRICAL ANTICLINE BOUNDED ON EAST BY LEONARD FAULT AND ON WEST BY FAULTS EXTENDING FROM THE SOUTH END OF SHEEP DRAW GRABEN. BEDS AT MINE SITE CUT BY BIFURCATED SE END OF NW-TRENDING IRON SPRINGS FAULT. TRENDING SLIGHTLY MORE NW AND EXTENDING UP THROUGH SALT WASH MEMBER OF MORRISON FM ARE TWO CLASTIC DIKES CONTAINING VARIOUS ROCK TYPES, HAVING AVERAGE THICKNESS OF 1.5 TO 2 FT, AND OCCUPYING ESSENTIALLY VERTICAL JOINT SET. VANADIUM DEPOSIT LIES NEAR CENTER OF PRINCIPAL MINERALIZED BELT TOWARD NORTH END.
