Deposit MINE DEVELOPED NEAR CONTACT BETWEEN DUBOIS GREENSTONE (FELSITE UNIT) AND SMALL BIOTITE SYENITE INTRUSION. FOLIATION IN FELSITE TRENDS GENERALLY N 50 TO 60 E, 75 TO 80 NW. FOLIATION WITHIN SYENITE BODY TRENDS GENERALLY N 33 TO 50 E, 75 TO 90 NW. EXACT TYPE OF DEPOSIT IS UNCERTAIN BUT MAY BE SIMILAR TO STRATABOUND MASSIVE SULFIDES FOUND IN MINES TO THE NORTH. ALTHOUGH ORE MINERALS NOT ENTIRELY KNOWN, BURBANK MENTIONS OCCURRENCE OF PYRITE, CHALCOPYRITE, AU IN QUARTZ GANGUE IN GOLD-QUARTZ-TYPE DEPOSIT, POSSIBLY VEINLIKE.
