Deposit AT NW END OF IRON HILL COMPLEX, PYROXENITE HAS INTRUDED OLDER POWDERHORN GRANITE STOCK AND SOUTHERN EDGE OF DUBOIS GREENSTONE BELT. HEDLUND AND OLSON (1975) MAPPED SEVERAL MAGNETITE-ILMENITE-PEROVSKITE DIKES AND SEGREGATIONS IN PYROXENITE IN IMMEDIATE AREA. VERMICULITE IS SPORADIC BUT LOCALLY ABUNDANT IN ALTERED PYROXENITE AS PODLIKE SEGREGATIONS AND DIKELIKE BODIES, RESULTING FROM WEATHERING OF BIOTITE AND/OR PHLOGOPITE.
