Deposit DEPOSIT LIES IN ALTERED BRECCIA WITHIN QUARTZ LATITE AND SANDSTONE OF THE UNCOMPAHGRE-SAN JUAN CALDERA INFILL SEQUENCE. BROWN (1926) DESCRIBES VEIN AS TYPICAL BRECCIA VEIN IN WHICH HIGHEST VALUES OCCURRED IN BLUE CHALCEDONIC QUARTZ THAT CEMENTS ALTERED ROCK FRAGMENTS.
