Deposit SANDY OOLITIC HEMATITE OCCURS IN AT LEAST 4 SEPARATE BEDS, AS MUCH AS 1.2 M. THICK, IN THE BASAL PART OF THE BLISS FORMATION WHICH OUTCROPS EXTENSIVELY IN THE SILVER CITY RANGE AND PINOS ALTOS MOUNTAINS. ORE BEDS CONTAIN APPROXIMATELY 25% FE.
