  • CONTACT BETWEEN THE GRANODIORITE AND CARBONATES IS VERY IRREGULAR. NUMEROUS ROOF PENDANTS AND XENOLITHIC BLOCKS OF CARBONATE OCCUR IN THE INTRUSIVE NEAR THE CONTACT. SOME UNUSUAL BORATES, LUDWIGITE AND MAGNESIOLUDWIGITE ARE ABUNDANT. OTHER UNUSUAL MINERALS SUCH AS EPHESITE, SUSSEXITE, XANTHOPHYLLITE AND HYDROMAGNESITE MAY ALSO BE PRESENT.
