  • Original record placed the mine in Sec. 10, to the north. If the 150 ft. tunnel connects with Alton tunnel, then it must be closer to the Alton, placing it in Sec. 15. Unless the Alton Tunnel extends much farther to the north. In which case, it is possible that Pine Shade (aka Pineshade) is in Sec. 10.
