| Deposit | MN AND FE ORE NEAR TOGETHER BUT SEPARATE AND DISTINCT BODIES. SOME MASSES OF ORE WEIGHING SEVERAL POUNDS ARE MORE THAN 1/2 LUDWIGITE. THE IRON ORE BODY CONSISTS CHIEFLY OF MAGNETITE. THE MANGANESE BODY IS AT LEAST 160 FT IN PITCH LENGTH AND 6 FT OR MORE IN WIDTH. IT PITCHES NW AND IS ASSOCIATED WITH A SMALL IRREGULAR QUARTZ VEIN THAT CARRIES AG AN PB. |
