| Deposit | THE RAINBOW LODE HAS BEEN A GREAT ORE PRODUCER. IT CONSISTS GENERALLY OF TWO DISTINCT FISSURES, N AND S VEIN. THESE VEINS ARE SEPARATED BY VARYING WIDTHS OF GRANITE, IMPREGNATED IN MANY PLACES WITH VEIN MATERIALS AND CUT BY SMALL VEINS TO SUCH AN EXTENT AS TO CONSITUTE ONE GREAT ORE BODY. THE LARGEST AND RICHEST ORE BODY WERE FOUND IN THE OXIDIZED ZONE. IN GENERAL A DECREASE IN AG IS ACCOMPANIED BY AN INCREASE IN ZN. THE OXIDIZED ZONE GOES DOWN 100 FT, ON 200 FT LEVEL A MIXTURE OF OXIDES AND SULPHIDES. THE ORE BELOW CONSISTS OF PYRITE, QUARTZ, GALENA, SPHALERITE, ARGENTITE, RHODONITE, AND RHODOCHROSITE. |
