Deposit 4 MANGANESE-BEARING VEINS. THE NORWICH VEIN IS WIDE, COMPLEX ALTERED SHEAR ZONE THAT HAS BEEN PARTLY FILLED AND REPLACED BY QUARTZ AND RHODOCHROSITE, SOME SPHALERITE, AND GALENA. THE VEIN IS OFFSET BY 2 TYPES OF FAULTS (1) THOSE PARALLEL TO THE VEIN (2)CROSS FAULTS THAT STRIKE NW TO N AND DIP NE OR E. THE VEIN IS MORE PERSISTENT TOWARDS THE W AND MORE HEAVILY MINERALIZED.
