  • ADIT IS PROBABLY THE SANTAQUIN KING REPORTED BY BUTLER, B.S. AND OTHERS, 1920, P. 332, HOWEVER HE REPORTS THE LENGTH AS 80 FT. THE ADIT IS PRESENTLY 550 FEET LONG. THE TWO SHAFTS ARE SMALL INCLINED SHAFTS ALONG FAULT PLANES. THE PROSPECT IS 20 FT BY 8 FT OPEN CUT 2 FT. DEEP ALONG A CALCITE VEIN IN LIMESTONE.
