  • IN 1868 THE WORKINGS EXTENDED FOR A DISTANCE OF 600 FT AND A DEPTH OF 450 FT MEASURED ON AN ANGLE OF 45 DEGREE. IN 1880, DEPOSITS WORKED THROUGH 2 STOPES, ONE 700 FT DEEP THE OTHER 300 FT DEEP. FOUND MANY PITS, SEVERAL GARBAGE-FILLED, OLD H OIST WORKINGS PRESENT.
