| Deposit | SNIDER (1912, P. 94) EXAMINED THE SHAFT TO 70 FT AT BOTTOM, WHILE IT WAS STILL BEING OPERATED. HE TOOK SAMPLES AT 5, 12, 22, 34, 44, 65, AND 70 FT DEEP. THE QUARTZ VEIN HAD MOSTLY GALENA IN GRANITE. |
| Deposit | BAIN (1904, P. 86) SAID THAT IT WAS NOT QUANAH PARKER'S. HALE (1981, APPENDIX MAP) SHOWED IT IN SEC. 25, 3N-14W. SCHOONOVER (1948, MAP) HAS A PBS PROSPECT LOCATED NEAR THE C NW-NW-SE-25 ON SE SIDE OF SMALL CREEK. THIS IS POSSIBLY WITHIN THE FORT SILL MILITARY RESERVATION FENCE. |
