| Deposit | PYRITE AND CHALCOPYRITE AND QUARTZ ARE ASSOCIATED WITH THE DIKE. |
| Deposit | BURK (1936, SHEET 850) LOCATED THIS PROSPECT. IT WAS 15 FT DEEP, AND WAS A QUARTZITE DIKE IN GABBRO WITH CHALCOPYRITE AND PYRITE. THIS MAY HAVE BEEN DUG BY DR. S.J. HARDIN, BEING ABOUT 1,600 FT SE OF THE LOST LEAD MINE. THIS COULD HAVE BEEN THE COPPER PROSPECT OF WOODRUFF (1904, P. 26), DUG TO 26 FT. |
