Comments on the location information

  • THE STEEP BLUFFS HAVE ABOUT 70 FT OR MORE OF BEDS EXPOSED ABOVE THE RIVER. WEGEMANN (1915, P. 52) GAVE NE-NW-3 AS A LOCATION, WHICH COULD BE ON THE E. OR W. SIDES OF THE CREEK IN THIS PART OF THE SECTION. I HAVE GIVEN THE COORDINATES FOR THE W. SIDE OF THE BLUFF, NEAR THE MOUTH OF THE CREEK. THIS WOULD BE IN THE OSCAR FORMATION.
