  • DELTAIC SANDS FROM THE SE WERE DEPOSITED ALONG WITH CU IONS, AND SUBSEQUENTLY, WITH UPLIFT, THE CU WAS RECONCENTRATED IN THE MORE PERMEABLE BEDS. THERE ARE AS MANY AS 6 RYAN SANDSTONES IN THE WELLINGTON AT ANY ONE PLACE, BUT THEY HAVE NOT BEEN MAPPED. THE SANDSTONES ARE GENERALLY BROWN. GEOLOGY BY HART (1974).
