Comments on the location information

  • CLAUDE PARSONS SAID THAT HE SANK A SHAFT, 35 FT DEEP, HERE IN 1902. A CUPRITE VEIN, 30 INCHES WIDE, ASSAYED 7.0% CU. THE CUPRITE WAS IN A TALC GANGUE 40-50 FT WIDE. HE SAID THAT THE VEIN EXTENDED SEVERAL MILES W. AND COULD ALSO BE TRACED E. INTO THE RESERVE. NO SAMPLES WERE TAKEN BY RYAN (1936). NO OUTCROPS ARE SHOWN AROUND THE SHAFT. TO THE N., NE, AND W. IS THE GLEN MOUNTAINS LAYERED COMPLEX. TO THE S. AND E. IS THE COLD SPRINGS INTRUSIVE.
