General comments

Subject category Comment text
General Beware. This is in 14N, R85W, Sec. 14 and is not the same Homestake as the one in Sec. 12N, R86W, Sec. 11-14. Unverifiable unitl we discovered the AML inventory map.
General The other Homestake is not in the database. A new entry (old MRDS W900417) was submitted by Terry Klein but has not been added to the database.

Reporter information

Type Date Name Affiliation Comment
Reporter 1976-02-01 Sierk, Betty M. U.S. Geological Survey
Editor 2009-02-03 Wilson, Anna B. U.S. Geological Survey Homestake is easily confused with another Homestake about 13 mi. SSW. Confirmed that this Homestake is a claim along with Comstock and Black Gracies Lodes as shown on AML map.
