  • SAMPLES FROM 14 PITS, TOTALLING 1 TON OF MATERIAL, HAVE BEEN SENT FOR TESTING. DISCOVERED DURING GOLD EXPLORATION PROGRAM. EXPLORATION BY DIAMOND AND REVERSE CIRCULATION WAS UNDERTAKEN. PREVIOUSLY EXPLORED BY SIKAMAN AND WHITE PLAINS RESOURCES. ; ECON.COM: WHITE PLAINS RESOURCES (VANCOUVER) OPTIONED THE PROPERTY FOR C$6 MILLION OVER ROUGHLY TWO YEARS PLUS SOME NET SMELTER RETURN CONSIDERATIONS, BUT FAILED TO EXERCISE THEIR OPTION. PRELIMINARY TESTS INDICATE THAT 60-70% OF THE RAW MATERIAL CAN BE RECOVERED AS WOLLASTONITE. PLANS ARE TO MARKET THE PRODUCT TO THE WESTERN U.S. AND THE PACIFIC RIM.
