PLANNED FIRST PRODUCTION IS FOR 1993. ; ECON.COM: DEVELOPMENT COST IS FOR FIRST PHASE OF THE PROJECT WITH AN INITIAL PRODUCTION CAPACITY OF 250,000 TPA OF PROCESSED CHINA CLAY. DURING WET SEASON, MATERIAL COULD BE TRANSPORTED BY RIVER TO BARBACENA, BUT RIVER IS NOT NAVIGABLE DURING DRY SEASON AND A SLURRY PIPELINE OF 130 KM LENGTH IS PROPOSED.
