Deposit SIX ASBESTOS-BEARING ZONES OCCUR OVER AN AREA OF 19 SQ KM OF FAULTED ULTRABASIC ROCKS. THE CHRYSOTILE ASBESTOS IS LOW STRENGTH AND CONSISTS OF FIBERS 15-20 CM LONG IN FOLIATED AND "CRUMPLED" SERPENTINITES. ONLY ZONE 4 HAS BEEN STUDIED. ZONE 4 IS 640 M LONG AND 130 M THICK. IT HAS IRREGULAR ASBESTOS MINERALIZATION WITH GRADES RANGING FROM 0.23-39.37% FIBERS.
