Deposit THREE SEPARATE DEPOSITS DRAPED ALONG THE LOWER VALLEY WALLS ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE RIO COYAGUAIMA. THE VENTS ARE ABOUT 50 M ABOVE THE GULCH AND ARE ORIENTED WNW-ESE. EACH DEPOSIT HAS AT ITS HEAD A SMALL CONE TOGETHER WITH APRONS OF FERRUGINOUS CALCAREOUS TUFA. SPRING ACTIVITY HAS CEASED. BORAX OCCURS AS DISSEMINATED SMALL CRYSTALS AND IRREGULAR MASSES IN THE UPPER 0.2 M OF THE EASTERN DEPOSIT ( PERHAPS 3% OF THE DEPOSIT IS BORAX). MAIN BODY HAS AN APRON AREA OF 3800 SQ METERS AND IS 1.6 M THICK. SMALLER BODIES ARE UP TO 2.0 M THICK. CURRENTLY (1986), ONLY SMALL AMOUNTS OF H2S AND CO2 ARE VENTED.
