Deposit THE SALAR IS NARROW AND ELONGATED IN A N-S DIRECTION; IT IS ABOUT 75 KM LONG. BORATE DEPOSITS ARE FOUND IN THE EXTREME NW PART OF THE SALAR AND SALT HAS BEEN EXPLOITED IN THE NORTHERN HALF OF THE SALAR. AN EXPLOITABLE BED OF ULEXITE 20 CM THICK. SALT CAPPING IS UP TO 2 M THICK.
