  • UPLIFT; PLIO-PLEIS; GRNR + LMON + SRPN; OROGENY IN LATE EOCENE TO EARLY MIOCENE EMPLACED ULTRAMAFIC ROCKS THAT WERE LATER SUBJECTED TO TROPICAL WEATHERING-. CHEMICAL ALTERATION CONCENTRATED NICKEL IN SOILS OVER THESE- ULTRAMAFIC ROCKS. RECENT UPLIFT HAS CAUSED THESE DEPOSITS TO- BE DISSECTED BY EROSION.
