  • WATER TABLE FLUCTUATION HAVE CEMENTED PARTS OF DEPOSIT TO FORM COFFEE ROCK.; QUATERNARY; ILMN + ZRCN + LXCN + RUTL + MNZT (+QRTZ); YOGANUP SHORELINE CONSISTS OF MULTIPLE STRANDLINES OF ELEVATION OF 20-80M ABOVE MSL, INCISED INTO THE LEEDERVILLE FORMATION ON THE SEAWARD SIDE OF WHICHER SCARP. INDIVIDUAL STRANDLINES CONSIST OF A 2-3M THICK SECTION DISCONFORMABLY OVERLYING THE LEEDERVILLE FM. EACH STRANDLINE CONSISTS OF A BASAL CONGLOMERATE OVERLAIN BY A GREY POORLY SORTED CLAY-RICH SAND REPRESENTING BEACH DEPOSIT CONTAINING UP TO 30% HM. THE SEQUENCE IS OVERLAIN BY YELLOW QUARTZ-SAND. AVERAGE HM GRADE IS 12-15% WITH GRADES BEING HIGHEST TOWARDS THE BASE.

DEVELOPMENT(NO); EXPLORATION(YES); ASSESSMENT(THE COMPANY HAS SUBSTANDIAL RESERVES OF LOWER GRADE ORE AT ITS BOYANUP LEASES, 15 KM NORTH ALONG THE YOGANUP STRANDLINE, AND ALSO STILL FURTHER NORTH AT ITS TUTUNUP LEASES. THE MINE IS A CONTINUATION OF THE YOGANUP CENTRAL MINE WHICH CLOSED IN 1976.); HEAVY MINERAL GRADE IS IN THE RANGE 12-15% CONSISTING OF 75% ILMENITE, 10% LEUCOXENE, AND 10% ZRCN. DRILLING TO THE NORTH ON BOYANUP LEASES.
