Comments on the workings information

  • GOLD-BEARING QUARTZ PROBABLY ABSENT: NONE OBSERVED IN DUMP OF THE SOUTHWESTERN ADIT, WHICH IS IN METASILTSTONE. NORTHEASTERN ADIT IS IN METASANDSTONE AND QUARTZ VEINS IN METASANDSTONE OF DISTRICT ARE TYPICALLY BARREN.

Comments on development

  • BOTH ENTRANCES TO ADITS ARE CAVED; SIZE OF DUMPS INDICATES THAT ADITS ARE LESS THAN 20 FT. IN LENGTH. BEDROCK NOT EXPOSED. VEIN QUARTZ FLOAT FROM JOINT SETS IN METASANDSTONE MAY HAVE PROVIDED INCENTIVE TO DRIVE THE ADITS.
