  • PRESENCE OF GOLD-BEARING VEINS IN ADIT AT DEPOSIT NO. 86 RAISES POSSIBILITY THAT GOLD-BEARING QUARTZ VEINS WERE INTERCEPTED AT THIS LOCALITY. IF SO, GOLD VALUES WERE PROBABLY UNECONOMIC.

  • ADIT APPARENTLY DRIVEN ON BASIS OF PLACER GOLD IN NEARBY ROBERTS BRANCH. ENTRANCE TO ADIT IS CAVED. NUMEROUS PARTLY-FILLED, SHALLOW PITS AND TRENCHES UPSLOPE FROM ADIT.
