| Deposit | 180 FT. BELOW BASE OF CHEPULTEPEC DOLOMITE. MINERALIZATION APPARENTLY CONFINED TO SINGLE 3-FT. THICK BED. MINERALIZED WALLS OF OPENCUT ARE LOWER GRADE THAN DUMP MATERIAL, SUGGESTING TO BROKAW THAT THE RICHEST POCKET OF ORE HAD BEEN MINED OUT. SPHALERITE AND GALENA REPORTEDLY DISSEMINATED IN THE DOLOMITE. GALENA WITH MINOR PYRITE AND SPHALERITE ALSO OCCUR IN FRACTURES IN SHATTERED DOLOMITE AT A SMALL CUT IN A LEDGE, ABOUT 400 FEET WEST OF THE W. P. DAY PROSPECT. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT |
