| Deposit | BARITE OCCURS AS IRREGULAR FRAGMENTS IN THE RESIDUAL CLAY AND AS VEINS OR SEAMS CHIEFLY ALONG BEDDING SURFACES. THERE ARE NO INDICATIONS OF A FRACTURE ZONE. LIMESTONE AND DOLOMITE PINNACLES OCCUR IN ALL THE OPENINGS, BUT MOST OF THE MINING WAS RESTRICTED TO THE RESIDUAL MATERIAL. CONSIDERABLE LIMONITE AND PYRITE WERE ASSOCIATED WITH THE BARITE. |
